The Inspiration of Music

  The program will start the journey with Leroy Anderson’s classic Sleigh Ride and the traditional folk song Greensleeves. For the child in everyone we have the movie music from The Polar Express, and the ballet The Nutcracker. Janna Braun will sing Christmas on Broadway and the playful Santa Baby as she goes down her Christmas list. The band will play the always popular Christmas Festival of well know melodies and then crank up the Christmas spirit with a swinging jazzy version of some of the tunes with Christmas A La Big Band. Of course there will be an opportunity for the audience to sing along with some Christmas carols in our Holiday Sing Along. The Brass Monkeys quintet will show up for a couple of numbers of Hanukah music. The show will conclude with Mrs. Claus reading the story ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and as the lights dim “we wish you all a good night”.
It is a not to be missed performance of the newest concert band in
Southwest Florida. We HO HO HOPE to see you there.

On February 4 the ensemble will present a line up of Broadway blockbusters incuding Andrew LLoyd Webber, Cats, Fiddler on the Roof and more.

  February 25 will bring John! A Celebration of Music by John Williams which is certain to entertain you, and includes Olympic Fanfare and Theme, Star Wars, The Cowboys, Harry Potter, Schindler's List and others.

  On March 24 the band will take you on a musical journey with Songs of the Sea, with music from the movie Titanic, Moon River, and American River Songs.

  The April 14 concert will conclude the season with a lineup of many favourite selections incuding Mission Impossible, The Incredibles, and others.

  We hope you can attend our dynamic and entertaing performances..

A Voyage into Space.

Bob Helfrich will sing Star Dust and Moon River and the band will play space themed music from Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, Come Fly with Me and When You Wish Upon a Star. Hear Mars from the Planets, a little Klezmer and a Valentines love song.

Sunday Mar 26, 2:00 P.M.

Into the West

This will be a celebration of music inspired by the west like Silverado and Southwest Saga. Hear the memorable tunes from Oklahoma! and some Willie Neson songs. The band will also play some St. Patrick's Day music for some uplifting spring music.

Sunday Apr 16, 2:00 P.M.

All About the Blues

This will be a concert featuring music with Blue in its name. From Blue Tango to Wildcat Blues Clarinet to Old Blue Eyes (Sinatra) to the Blues Brothers it will include a wide variety of music that will entertain everyone. Even a Tuba solo, Tuba Tiger Rag, and some music from the Broadway hit Chicago.
